Ahoy! I’m Alex Wigley, owner and operator of 5-FAB, LLC. I first saw the BD-5J in the opening scene of the 1983 James Bond movie Octopussy. The tiny jet rolled out of a horse trailer and made a dramatic escape. WOW! I was hooked. Years later, I took the plunge and bought my first BD-5 kit, and the journey began.

 Along the way, I rubbed shoulders with notable names in the BD-5 world and accrued a long list of resources and videos. As invaluable as this information was, I knew it could be the catalyst many builders needed to get airborne! And so 5-FAB, LLC was created for all of those hard-earned and much-needed BD-5 resources: a place to support builders, offer inspiration, resources, and parts.

The last thing I want is for the BD-5 legacy to languish. This little experimental airplane rewards the daring dreamer in each of us, and the thrill of getting those dreams assembled and off the ground is too great to ignore!
